Measuring for Blinds of any description can be daunting however, there are simple rules to follow in the process. We shall list them step by step for you as follows:

(ALL REVEAL FIT) - Make sure measurements are all NEAT AND TIGHT

NOTE: Exceptions to the rule here is you can have a Roman Blind Custom Made to fit in a reveal.

Try to make ALL measurements in MM not CM as this is a more precise method for selecting the right blind, and there after cutting for installation in your windows.

Where possible  allow 100mm either side of the of the window for width and 100mm higher thanthe window frame itself, and the in the case of Romans / Kimono Blinds approximately 50mm to the side's and below window frame unless its to the floor ensuring good window coverage. Remember always that Curtains of any description will "drop" "fall" about 15 - 25mm depending on weight, so always make that allowance in your calculations.


 

 

Additional Pick Up and Drop Off Points for your Convenience

 

Although we are normally on the road daily, we do have cutting stations based in the following areas if YOU wish to INSTALL your own blinds both NORTH and SOUTH of the river:

  1. Mt. Hawthorn
  2. Warnbro (HQ)
  3. Bunbury (call for details)


We can also as an added bonus pick up and return your ready made off the shelf blinds to your home if a drop off by yourself is difficult. (Conditions Apply)

All personal drop offs and collections by the customer is done between 3pm and 6pm monday to friday only. (Warnbro)

If a Measure up is Required on site, we are happy to oblige and assist with your needs for a modest amount of $30:00 for any amount of windows per job. This sum is deductible from the overall total should we be successful in the full completion which includes the installation for ten (10) blinds or more.

 

NOTE: Custom Blind Measure ups are set at $70:00- effective May 2010.
